Well, a couple of weeks ago we underwent a life changing event: we moved to Peoria, Illinois. It was quite the adventure, pulling a trailer through 5 states was a thrill, especially when the trailer lights started giving us problems in the middle of the night. But it's okay, we survived.
We stopped to take a picture in the middle of the road in Wyoming, beautiful scenery huh? There were about a thousand prarie dogs directly to our rear.
Here is a kind of creepy statue of Lincoln's head overseeing the Wyoming highway...
And this was Nebraska! It took about 17 hours to get through, and this sign was the most interesting thing!
And this was the beautiful Iowa sunrise! (We drove through the night) I literally though we were going to drive off the face of the earth in Iowa, it is so flat that I actually forgot that was impossible for about 45 minutes.
And this was our first encounter with the ever elusive sign to Peoria. We were actually driving over the Mississippi river right here, which was quite an experience, especially with all of the flooding that has recently occurred.
And that's our trip in a nutshell, a 1355 mile long nutshell.

First of all I would like to extend a warm welcome to the blogosphere. Second, congrats on the move. I remember the long drive across middle America with a trailor--YUCK! If we ever drive through IL we will have to meet up. You are welcome to visit us in OH any time. I really want to meet Tiffany some time.
Braden & Tiffany,
Hey guys! Dave and Stephanie Henderson here. Long time no see! We found your blog from Ariel's. First of all, congratulations! What are you guys doing in IL? We live in NY and can totally sympathize with the long drive (and with Iowa comments). If you want, you can check out our blog:
